Cornell University has a sprawling campus off the beaten path, nestled amid Ithaca’s rolling hills. Consequently, it can be difficult to figure out a direct route to Cornell! As long time Ithaca residents we’ll let you in on all our secret roads and passages… the absolute fastest way to Cornell University!

In general, we head out of the driveway turning left onto Quarry Road, and then left onto Ellis Hollow Road.  To reach the Vet School, the Orchard Store, the Dairy Store, the Plantations, or the Golf Course and North Campus we may turn right onto Game Farm Road and then left onto Route 366 and right again (you can follow signs at that point), or we may continue on Ellis Hollow Road and turn right onto Pine Tree Road by East Hill Plaza and left onto Route 366 if we are going to the Arts Quad, West Campus, Scholkoff, etc.  For Collegetown, we would turn left off of Pine Tree Road, onto Maple Ave., and go straight through the traffic light onto Dryden Road.
