The octagonal cathedral bedroom required a custom made mattress fromWJSouthard, a fourth generation mattress company in Syracuse, NY. We chose the Cazanovian, an organic latex, wool and cotton mattress, which we’ve covered in down (or hypollergenic) comforters, high-count line-dried cotton linens, and soft pillows to perfect this restful escape in the trees.
On the first floor, enjoy a comfortable living room with Stickley leather Mission sleeper sofa and rocker with footstool, tabouret tables, cable TV, high speed internet, and an outdoor deck looking into the woods.
The kitchenette is smartly fitted up with a French press and home-roasted, freshly ground coffee (or tea), mini-fridge, toaster oven, induction burner, and many other amenities tucked away in cupboards for when you are feeling epicurialy ambitious. The Stickley Mission table and chairs for four work just as well for take-out, so don’t feel you must cook!
